Hidden gem! I can't tell you how many times I've passed this place and never saw it. However, a coworker recommended this place and I am SO HAPPY she did. I got the mini mega chef salad for 9. I think I can split it into 3 meals. The amount of meat is insane. I can't wait to try the Cuban sandwich.
We followed Mandy the food critic from facebboks suggestion and Simply delicious did not disappoint! We had Papi's special cuban sandwich. It was DELICIOUS!! Sooo much pork and ham that was the best. The pork was the best seasoned we've ever had and no fat and did I mention HUGE!!! The Papi's sauce was very good and pressed just to a nice crunch!! I could go on..... I'll just say get to Simply Delicious it is carry out but the friendly folks waiting and the sweet cashier with the big smile made the experience even better.
This is my new favorite place to get Cuban food! Family run, daughter up front was very kind, greeted us with a smile, and excited to have new patrons. Her father was in the back putting these culinary masterpieces together. Myself, my son and mother ordered Cuban sandwiches, black beans and rice, and another order of black beans and rice with a big side order of plantains. My photos do not do this place justice at all and I can’t express to you how extremely satisfied we were with the meal! Tons of leftovers- they don’t skimp out on you and well worth the price- they want you to leave full of food made with passion and love!
Really solid Cuban sandwich and great portion sizes. I did the 8” and that was still more than enough for lunch. At least when I went today in Dec 2024 it was cash only so be forewarned.
A hidden gem but not to locals, the other guests in lines raved about this place on my first visit. This place was fantastic. The portions are out of this world, and you can’t beat the price. The house special Cuban is fantastic, huge, piled with so much meat. The mini salad was far from mini, it served as 3 meals. Piled high with toppings and meat. Service was through a small window, no indoor seating but nothing takes away from the fantastic food and service. Nothing was missed with this visit. We’ll surely be back.
I’ve been coming here for decades, and it never disappoints! The Cuban sandwiches aren’t exactly traditional, but they’re absolutely packed with flavor. I always order extra sauce—it’s that good. You get a generous portion of meat and fresh veggies every time. This place is a true favorite of mine!
went to simply Delicious for lunch after going to a doctor's appointment on that side of town, the food is absolutely delicious and you better be very hungry because the portions are big enough to feed two people no matter what you order off the menu , and bursting with mouth-watering flavor in every bite of every dish I recommend going to this establishment if you have never been you will taste why all the reviews are outstanding
As soon as I held this 8-pound Cuban sandwich from the bag, I knew I was in for a treat. That does not even begin to describe the ecstasy that my taste buds went through. Hands down the best Cuban sandwich in Tampa bay. Cash only, but well worth the trip to the ATM.
